The tour should be booked at least 24 hours in advance when possible. Walk-ins are always welcome and will be taken on a first come first serve basis. Segway tours have a maximum of 12 people per tour and all pre-paid customers with reservations will be taken first.

Operating a Segway HT requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without assistance or use of a handrail, or standing on a step stool without assistance or the use of a handrail. Most people are able to operate the Segway HT within 20 minutes of practice.
Everyone will practice on the Segways in front of our store using cones as obsticals until everyone feels comfortable and ready to glide! (aprox 30 min) If anyone does not feel comfortable they may choose not to go on the tour. Anyone choosing not to go on the tour will be asked to park the Segway HT in the store when the tour leaves. No Refunds will be given.
- Riders must weigh at least 75 pounds children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or gaurdian
- Rider must be able to operate the steering control with his or her left hand.
- Riders must wear a helmet. One will be provided or you can bring your own.
- Riders must agree to release all liability and sign a waiver stating so.
We will provide:
- Video introduction to the Segway HT.
- Hands-on training with a Segway Staff Member in our store.
- An obstical course with cones for practice and a staff member for assistance. Top
Declined Credit Cards:
If the authorization on the credit card provided is declined, we will attempt to notify you by email at the email address you provided. The reservation will be held on a walk-in basis and may need to be rebooked depending on availability. We take Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express and Pay Pal.

Changes to a Reservation and Cancellation and No Show Policy:
Reservations require a full deposit via Credit Card. We will send an e-mail confirmation of the date and time of your tour. Deposits are fully refundable if the reservation is cancelled 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled tour. No Shows are charged in full. The deposit will not be refunded for any reason within 24 hours of your scheduled tour. Segway New Mexico will Reschedule your tour one time if missed for any reason. A signed liability waiver is required prior to your tour departure. Anyone that has reserved a tour and fails to sign a release of liability prior to leaving will not receive a refund and their tour will not be rescheduled.
IMPORTANT Check your Confirmation for Correct Date and Time:
It is your responsibility to be at Segway New Mexico's store located at 1816 Lomas Blvd NW Abq NM 87104. Across from Historic Old Town where Lomas Blvd. meets Central Ave. (rt66 crossroads) on the correct date. Please check your confirmation carefully. Call Segway New Mexico at (505) 244-1420 with questions or cancelations. Remember, No refund for no-shows, You must call us to reschedule your tour if you missed your tour for any reason.

Security Deposit and Damages during tours and rentals.
A Valid ID with picture and a credit card is Required: Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express will be required for a security deposit on all "rentals". The $500 security deposit will be authorized (not charged) on your credit card in advance of your Rental. Guided Tours do not require a credit card. All damage to the Segway HT (if any) is the responsibility of the renter/leasee and any repairs will be deducted from the deposit. If the $500 ( pre-authorization) is not enough to cover the damage done to the Segway HT, then renter/leasee agrees to have the balance of those repairs charged to the Credit Card given for the Security Deposit. Any Segway not returned, reported stolen, or damaged beyond repair will result in a $5000.00 charge (per unit) for replacement cost of the Segway HT(s). Renter/leasee is responsible for any unpaid balance not covered by the security deposit and/or credit card limit. Renter/leasee also agrees to pay and have charged to their credit card on file any and all repairs, late fees, collection costs or fee's incured by Segway New Mexico, including but not limited to court and attorneys fees or any other expenses incurred by Segway New Mexico from trying to retrieve property or collect a debt from you.

Segway New Mexico Product Return Policy:
All our New Segway HT's and New Segway Accessories are returnable when returned in the original sealed un-opened box. All returns must have a RMA number for return shipment. You must call or email Segway New Mexico to obtain the RMA# for the item prior to returning. A 15% restocking fee will be charged on all returned items. A refund check will be issued within 10 days of return. Segway New Mexico will make every effort to make your purchase right. We will (exchange or repair) at our option any used Segway or custom Segway Accessory we sell if it arrives damaged or is found to be defective.
Shipping and Handling charges are NON REFUNDABLE.

Tour Rerouting and Weather:
We reserve the right to change the size of the tour to meet requests for that specific day. Albuquerque is famous for our sudden change in weather! Our tours run fog, light rain or shine. Segways are designed to run in any weather. If seasonal fog /weather obscures the view, tour routes may be altered. You will not be charged if we cancel a tour. In the rare case of a tour cancellation due to a severe rain we will offer space on an alternate date or time (if space is available.) and or a Refund. Each Segway has a handlebar storage bag for cameras, light jackets and small purses. A small backpack is allowed but nothing heavy.
Hotel Drop off and pick up:
We offer Hotel and Resort drop off and pick up in Albuquerque. We also offer delivery to and from private parties, receptions, conventions, or any special event you have planned in Albuquerque.
